matériO’ has been created in 2000 by a young French team curious of sciences, industry, materials, design and innovation. Funded at the beginning by a Santa Claus-patron (Yves Poullain), matériO’ is a watch service on innovative and singular materials for architects, designers and others creators of all sorts. Our team permanently identify these innovative and singular materials from all over the world, they select the most striking ones to reference, invite the selected producer to send us samples for the members of matériO can see, touch, play with these tons of materials within materials library in Paris, Geneva, Prague Seoul and Shenzhen. Since 2012, with the help of a talented team of open-source developers, matériO offers a multi language, simple and direct website which is permanently expanding up with new materials and options, for never stop discovering.

matériO is your innovation AND inspiration tool. We believe that innovation can arise from your meeting with new materials, according to your desires and the projects you have in mind. Wander through the database or in one of our showrooms, it can only be surprising and fruitful.

As much as our watchword is to break down the barriers of industrial sectors, many international companies with very varied activities call on the services of matériO.
